We care about the people who wear our jewelry, just like the people who make it. Each piece of jewelry is unique and a perfect piece of jewelry for us is when it is made with love and patience. Therefore our prices are also adjusted to our handmade and unique production.

The name MACIMO stands for versatility, because the people behind the label see themselves as part of a community for a better environment and a better together on our planet.
In Germany, the founder worked for years in the social sector while producing jewelry designs. A turning point in the founder's life led to a solo trip to Bali, which became a journey to herself. In Bali she found a place where we can ensure that the jewelry designs are made according to our values. We are working with a small jewelry factory that uses only recycled silver and
 fair trade gold.

The use of recycled jewelry conserves the resources of our environment. No chemicals are used and therefore less CO2- emissions. The recycled silver comes TÜV tested from Thailand and for the gold plating we use fair trade gold from Germany and Italy. We want to promote economic independence and stability for the people of Bali and traditional Balinese craftsmanship.

The Studio in Bali is running by a female goldsmith who has 20 years of experience in making it.
All our jewellery pieces are recycled sterling silver & 18k fair trade gold-plated creations. And the best thing about it - a part of the sales goes to the fundraising campaign for the Scholarship school project for children in Bali.

We want to reach with our jewelry women and men who want to wear individual jewelry suitable for every day and be a part of our idea and our values. Creating jewelry is a passion and we love to let our imagination run free in the designs. We created our bestseller the Koi Fish Necklace as a timeless symbol of individuality and freedom. The Koi Fish stands for our brand philosophy.
